ABOUT
My story:
Hi, and welcome to my website! My name is Nira, and I'm passionate about raising awareness for scoliosis and supporting those who may feel alone in their journey.
My own scoliosis story began in 6th grade, when I was diagnosed with the condition. In 7th and 8th grade, I wore a back brace to help manage it, but it wasn’t easy. Scoliosis became something I kept secret, and I often felt insecure about it. The brace made me feel self-conscious, and I struggled with the emotional weight of feeling different from my peers.
Looking back, I wish I had known then what I know now—that I wasn’t alone, and that scoliosis didn’t define me. That’s why I created this website: to share my story, connect with others, and foster a community of support and understanding.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, wearing a brace, or just looking to learn more, this is a space where you’ll find resources, encouragement, and honesty. Scoliosis might be a part of our lives, but it’s not the whole story. Together, we can raise awareness and empower one another.
Thank you for being here and for joining me on this journey!

As someone who has experienced scoliosis firsthand-and wore a back brace throughout middle school-I started this platform to raise awareness and support others on a similar path. Every dollar brings us closer to a community of understanding, strength, and support. Thank you for helping turn my story into something bigger than me.
